In our discussion last Sunday we noted that the definition of family is very broad – it includes the nuclear family, the blended family, single-parent families, same-sex couples (with kids or no kids), single persons, widows and widowers, and men and women in religious life. In other words, we all belong to a family.
What’s more – we all belong to multiple families. Our neighborhood, parish, workplace, circle of friends – these are families too.
And we all belong to the one human family. Every person on this earth is a brother or sister to us.
And now a question – what can we do to build up the one worldwide human family?
What should we be doing?
